StiptBip is time-tracking software: staff clock in with a card at a tablet, and the business sees the hours and pay. Below you can read what data we process, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

The "Become a customer" form

When you fill in the form on this website, we keep:

  • your company name, your name, your phone number and your e-mail address;
  • the number of employees you chose and the language of the page;
  • when you sent the form (and so gave your consent);
  • a code we compute from your IP address. We do not keep the IP address itself; the code is only used to recognise spam.

Why: to contact you about your request, schedule a demo and, if you become a customer, set up your account. We do this based on your consent, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time.

How long: requests are deleted automatically one year after they came in. If you become a customer, the details we need move to your customer account.

We do not sell your data and do not give it to others for their own purposes.

The product: employee data

For businesses that use StiptBip, we process data about their employees. The business (the employer) decides what it is used for; we only process it on their behalf, as a processor. This is:

  • the employee's name and the number of their card (only the number; we do not read or write anything else on the card);
  • clock-in and clock-out times, corrections with their reason, breaks, leave and the hourly rate;
  • if the business fills them in: the employee's phone number and e-mail address;
  • the accounts of administrators (user name and an encrypted form of the password).

No biometrics, no photos: StiptBip does not use fingerprints, face recognition or cameras.

How long: as long as the business uses StiptBip. After the contract ends we delete the data within 30 days; backups are overwritten after 14 days.

Do you work for a business that uses StiptBip? For questions about your data, please contact your employer first.

Where the data is kept

All data is kept on servers in the European Union and is not sent to countries outside the EU. The connection to the website, the admin panel and the tablets is always encrypted (HTTPS).

Cookies

This website only uses a cookie that remembers your choice of language. There are no advertising or analytics cookies and we do not track you. The fonts are on our own server, so nothing goes to others for those either.

In the admin panel we also use a session cookie to keep you logged in, a security cookie against misuse of forms and, if you tick "Keep me logged in", a cookie that is valid for 30 days.

Your rights

You may see your data, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent and object to its use. You can also ask for your data as a file. We answer within a month.

If you do not agree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
